The room was clean and nicely decorated, but I wish the breakfast had more variety. The sausages were just plain boring. it was a decent stay. 😊

I stayed for one night and was pleasantly surprised when they immediately found me a different room since mine wasn't ready yet. The cozy lounge was perfect for unwinding and the steam room was an unexpected treat after a long day. The shower temperature was a bit tricky to manage, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. 😊

Recommend it for budget-conscious folks
Had a great time at this place, the room was clean and comfy, even had a quirky layout that felt personal. The free drink on arrival was a nice touch, felt like they actually cared about making me feel welcome.
It was a bit pricey, but considering the perks, I guess it was reasonable.

A Comfortable Stay for Leisure Travelers
I enjoyed my time here with friendly staff and a delightful breakfast at the Italian restaurant. The room had some charm, though a bit outdated. For a family trip, it worked well, but consider requesting a cooler room beforehand for a more comfortable night's sleep.

Had a wonderful stay at Mercure George Hotel, Reading! The room was spotless and had a cozy corner with an armchair that was perfect for relaxing with a book. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home from the start.
The room was a bit warm at times.

missingWrote a review on 26 Febappealing courtyardtakeaway menucramped roomcold bedclosed bar
An urgent stop led to an unexpectedly disappointing experience. Despite the appealing courtyard, the check-in process lacked warmth, with the bar being closed. The single room felt cramped, with a tiny bed near a cold window and dirty walls. The minimal furnishings included a takeaway menu, but issues like the short curtains allowing morning light made for an uncomfortable stay, which was not worth the £95 charge.
